Our first-ever (and first of many) Uprising was amazing! Not only did we have 600+ in attendance, 150 volunteers serving from at least 5 different churches, an amazing concert with Love And Death, but we also saw 40 people give their lives to Jesus that night! THAT is what it’s all about!
If you were one of the many people who came forward that night, we wanted to let you know that we dedicated a page on this website just for you!
We spent hundreds of dollars putting together new believer packets for The Uprising, and we did that for a reason. We want to make it clear that we’re not just focused on getting a bunch of people to raise their hands and pray a prayer, but we also want to see those people discipled and growing deeper in their new relationship with Jesus.
I can’t say it any better than Pastor Steve said it on the New Believers’ page, so I won’t take up the room here, but the idea is simple. The decision you just made to follow Jesus is the best one you could ever make…but it’s not over – that decision was just the beginning of a new life!
It’s vital that you dive deeper into that new relationship and we’ve done our best to help make that as successful as possible. If you got a New Believers’ packet, it contained a letter, a Bible, and a map of local Clarksville churches. Those are all important as you continue pursuing Jesus.
